Job summary

Valiant Integrated Services seeks a Director of Contracts to lead a contracts team supporting the Mission Support line of business. You will guide cradle-to-grave management across multiple contract types for USG programs, primarily in Herndon, VA, with travel as needed.

The role requires 8+ years in USG contracts, 5+ years of leadership, and an active TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor's degree is required; MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in USG contracts management.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years leading a contracts team.
• 5+ years managing a portfolio of contracts totaling $400M+ annual volume.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFAR and related regulations.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS (<20%).

Responsibilities

• Serve as contracts SME for the MS line of business.
• Lead and mentor contracts staff and coordinate with leadership.
• Review awards/modifications and negotiate with Government entities.
• Ensure contractual compliance and resolve issues with Program Operations.
• Support client engagement and business development activities.
• Coordinate with legal on teaming and NDAs as required.
