Iceberg, a leading legal technology consultancy, seeks a Director of Consulting – DMS to lead complex DMS implementations, migrations, and governance projects for top Am Law 200 and international firms. The role includes steering multi-office programs, mentoring senior consultants, and driving growth initiatives.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, shape DMS strategies, and oversee delivery across enterprise platforms like NetDocuments and iManage, while contributing to thought leadership

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading large-scale DMS or ECM implementations.
• Experience supporting large law firms (Am Law 200) is preferred.
• Strong technical expertise in NetDocuments and/or iManage, incl. migrations and integrations.
• Experience managing complex multi-office or international tech programs.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing consulting teams.

I am partnering with a leading legal technology consulting firm that works with some of the most prestigious law firms across the US and internationally.

My client is looking to appoint an experienced Director of Consulting – DMS to lead complex document management implementations, drive business development and oversee a team of specialist consultants.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded legal technology professional to take ownership of high-profile projects while contributing to the continued growth of an established consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-wide DMS implementations and migrations.


• Oversee large-scale projects involving NetDocuments, iManage and related legal technology platforms.


• Develop and maintain relationships with Am Law 200 and international law firms.


• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the consulting practice.


• Manage, mentor and develop a team of experienced consultants.


• Advise clients on document management strategy, information governance, system integrations and workflow optimization.


• Contribute to business development initiatives, industry events and thought leadership.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience leading large-scale DMS or Enterprise Content Management (ECM) implementations.


• 3+ years of consulting experience supporting large law firms, ideally within the Am Law 200.


• Strong technical expertise in NetDocuments and/or iManage, including implementations, migrations and integrations.


• Experience managing complex, multi-office or international technology programs.


• Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management and consulting delivery.


• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing consulting teams.


• Strong understanding of information governance, security and compliance within legal environments.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior law firm stakeholders.
