Job summary

Panthera Grid Partners is seeking a Director of Construction to lead pre-construction and construction efforts for utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects. The ideal candidate will oversee cross-functional teams, manage risk, and drive contracts through EPC stages to project completion.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, strong construction management skills, and the ability to coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and Business Development to ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in utility scale solar PV with 8+ years in construction or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams in renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and project risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated project teams from pre-construction through final completion for solar/BESS projects.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Project Development, and Business Development.
• Develop construction schedules and budgets considering internal and external factors.
• Oversee EPC RFPs and evaluate contractor bids and schedules.
• Ensure alignment with project documents (PPA, ISA, IA) and contracting obligations.
• Mentor and develop a growing PM team and maintain contractor relationships.
• Ensure contractor safety and manage change orders per standards.
