Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Director of Conflicts to lead conflict checking, risk management, and policy development across the firm. You will supervise a team, implement best practices, and collaborate with risk, intake, and legal teams to ensure timely, accurate escalation and resolution of conflicts.

The role offers remote flexibility with potential locations across the United States, including Missouri, and emphasizes training, governance, and cross‑functional leadership to protect client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD strongly preferred.
• Extensive conflicts experience in a law firm or professional services.
• Minimum of ten years of progressive supervisory experience.
• Subject matter expertise in legal ethics and conflicts rules.
• Experience leading cross-office initiatives in a professional services firm.

Responsabilités

• Lead firm-wide conflict checking and escalation processes.
• Develop and enforce firm-wide policies regarding conflicts, intake, and risk management.
• Oversee department budget, staffing, and project delivery.
• Provide training to conflicts managers, analysts, and related teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups for conflicts and new business intake.
• Report metrics to senior leadership and support strategic initiatives.
