Job summary

Apnimed, a Cambridge, MA based biopharma company, seeks a Director of Compliance to build and scale our compliance program ahead of launch. You will partner with the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Deputy General Counsel, owning operational compliance, policy development, and training for field teams and commercial operations.

You will serve as a trusted business partner across Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Finance, shaping launch strategy while ensuring practical, compliant execution

Qualifications

• 8+ years of compliance experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience supporting commercial and medical affairs functions.
• Hands-on experience with Open Payments reporting and promotional compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build and run day-to-day program operations using the seven elements of an effective compliance program.
• Draft, implement, and maintain policies and SOPs for HCP/HCO interactions and related programs.
• Oversee Open Payments reporting, state transparency, and contract diligence.
• Run screening for exclusions and debarments of employees, HCPs, and vendors.
• Develop and deliver onboarding and launch-readiness training for staff.
• Be the primary day-to-day compliance contact across the company.
