Koelsch Communities seeks a mission-minded Director of Community Relations in Puyallup, WA. You will drive occupancy by leading marketing, sales, and outreach to showcase outstanding senior living options and living standards.

This salaried role reports to the DR Executive Director and demands a proactive, customer-focused approach. You will oversee annual marketing plans, maintain census and inquiries, coordinate move-ins, and deliver weekly reports while collaborating with other marketing

Qualifications

• Sales and marketing experience required.
• Experience in senior living preferred.
• Leads teams with a customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a mission-minded and relationship-driven sales & marketing leader to join us as the Director of Community Relations at Deer Ridge Memory Care!

Earn between 83,000 and 86,000 annually; Salaried / Exempt position with Bonus Opportunities!

Who you are:

You enjoy being at the fore-front of marketing and sales. The DCR is responsible for developing and increasing occupancy levels and high-quality census through actively campaigning to sell the Community’s outstanding senior living options and living standards.

What you'll do:

• Be the community leader responsible for providing the highest level of customer service including building a prospect base, responding to inquiries, generating and giving community tours, and performing purposeful follow-up
• Coordinates the annual and monthly marketing action plans
• Maintains census rates and inquiry history
• Maintains marketing collateral
• Coordinates for all move-ins
• Maintains the mailing and follow-up calls with customers and referrals
• Completes a weekly marketing report
• Maintains Guest and Showrooms
• Communicates regularly with department managers, community leaders, and other marketing staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Sales and marketing experience
• Experience working in the senior living industry is preferred
• Effective leader who loves working with seniors
• Team-focused individual with a deep commitment to customer service
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
