Job summary

Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency, Inc. is seeking a Director of Community Intervention to lead the Community Intervention Department, including TDOC Community Corrections and Day Reporting Centers, DCS juvenile probation, and UC Recovery programs.

The role strengthens public safety, recovery, and reentry for justice-involved residents across the Upper Cumberland. Essential functions include department leadership, contract compliance, financial sustainability, staff supervision of ~30, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology, public administration, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Tennessee licensure (LCSW, LPC, LSPE, and/or Licensed Psychologist) preferred.

Responsibilities

Directs Community Intervention programs including TDOC, Day Reporting Centers, juvenile probation, and recovery initiatives.
Ensures contract compliance, reporting, and audit readiness for TDOC, DCS, and grants.
Develops budgets with Finance Director and pursues new funding for sustainability.
Supervises ~30 staff, provides training, and builds capacity in evidence-based practices.
Tracks outcomes using TOMIS/REDCap and reports impact to funders and leadership.
Builds partnerships with courts, prosecutors, law enforcement, and treatment providers.
