Job summary

UCLA Teaching & Learning Center is seeking a seasoned communications leader to advance inclusive excellence in teaching. The Director of Communications will guide the center's digital outreach, ensure alignment with UCLA branding, and broaden engagement with instructors across campus.

The role reports to the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, overseeing content creation, strategy, and analytics. A hybrid on-campus schedule is available, with a focus on elevating visibility for TLC programs

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.
• Experience developing and implementing communications strategies across digital and print platforms.
• Experience leading a communications team in higher education or complex organization.
• Strong command of digital technology and design standards for accessible media.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the TLC digital communications strategy across print and digital channels.
• Lead a team of communicators, align messaging with TLC strategy, and track projects.
• Provide writing and copy-editing support to ensure consistency and accuracy across materials.
• Oversee executive communications and advisor to TLC leadership on messaging and change management.
