Job summary

The UCLA Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) is seeking an experienced communications leader to advance its mission of promoting inclusive excellence in teaching. This position will lead and execute the TLC digital communications strategy, including print and digital platforms, websites, newsletters, and social media, while ensuring UCLA branding standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, graphic design, communications, brand management, or related area.
• Experience developing and implementing communications strategies, websites, and social media best practices.
• Experience leading a team of communicators in higher education or similar complex organization.
• Expert command of Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office, and web editing tools.
• Knowledge of ADA and WCAG accessibility standards for digital/print media.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute TLC's digital communications strategy across print and digital platforms.
• Oversee development and deployment of creative, accessible content promoting TLC programs and services.
• Provide strategic counsel to TLC leadership and align messaging across units.
• Manage internal and external communications requests and track project status.
• Support change management and instructional continuity communications as needed.
