Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Director of Commercial Data & Analytics Architecture to own the architecture of the governed commercial analytics data and semantic data layer, enabling brand analytics, forecasting, data science products, and AI agents across Pfizer.

You will set standards, define the tech stack, and stay hands-on with reference implementations, code reviews, and prototyping, partnering with senior business and technical stakeholders to drive scalable data assets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics engineering with substantial hands-on technical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial analytics data model with conformed dimensions and governed identities.
• Establish federated development model with guardrails for autonomous teams within governed guardrails.
• Publish standards, reference implementations, and architecture decision logs.
• Serve as accountable architect for vendor and internal brand implementations.
• Shape and implement data contracts for governed source-of-truth metrics.
• Provide the technical backbone for a consolidated metric registry and certifications.
• Define tech stack direction for data layer, storage, compute, and CI/CD.
