Job summary

MGM Resorts International seeks a Director of Digital Platform Services to lead cloud engineering, deployment automation, and developer experience platforms. This executive role focuses on aligning technical strategy across the organization, driving efficiency, security, and innovation within a large enterprise IT footprint.

The ideal candidate will guide scalable platforms, automation pipelines, and governance for a resilient, cloud-first or hybrid environment, while fostering collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years IT experience with cloud infrastructure and platforms.
• 4+ years leadership experience in cloud engineering/operations.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Experience with IaC, CI/CD, and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Platform Services team to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions aligned with enterprise goals.
• Define and implement platform engineering strategies, leveraging containerization and automation at scale.
• Develop and maintain deployment automation pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
• Drive secure, cost-effective, and resilient multi-cloud infrastructure using best practices.
• Manage cloud landing zones for automated provisioning and governance.
• Oversee platform operations with an SRE mindset—observability and incident response.
• Champion a seamless developer experience with self-service tools and streamlined environments.
• Lead team development, vendor relationships, and cross-functional collaboration.
