RFCUNY's AI-BIOME program seeks a Director of Operations to oversee daily administration, financial management, HR, facilities, research support, and compliance across CCNY, ASRC, RFCUNY, and partner institutions.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the role coordinates with co-directors to ensure efficient operations, manage budgets, audits, and sponsor communications while enabling research, workforce development, and outreach across a multi-institution framework.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in public administration, business, science, engineering, or higher education administration.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in research administration, operations, or organizational management.
• Experience with budget, grants, contracts, and compliance in a university or research setting.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily administrative and operational activities of AI-BIOME across multiple institutions.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices; monitor performance metrics.
• Coordinate budget management, pre- and post-award administration, audits, and sponsor communications.
• Supervise staff, coordinate hiring, onboarding, and professional development.
• Coordinate laboratory operations, scheduling, and shared facilities; ensure compliance.
