Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Director, Cloud and Enterprise IT Architect to lead cloud platform strategy, enterprise infrastructure, and IT modernization for federal pursuits. You will shape solutions from opportunity identification through proposal submission, develop discriminators, and craft compelling narratives to win contracts.

The role requires a deep multi-cloud and security focus, and collaboration with capture teams and executives.

Qualifications

16+ years of industry experience.
Deep expertise in cloud platform architecture across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and GCP.
Demonstrated experience with Zero Trust Architectures in federal environments.
Proven experience with containers, Kubernetes, microservices, and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
Knowledge of FedRAMP, cloud compliance, ITIL-like service management.
Experience supporting federal government customers in contractor roles.
Proven ability to translate complex cloud concepts into compelling narratives for capture teams and execs.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise cloud and IT architecture for cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, and IT modernization.
Shape Cloud and Enterprise IT solutions from opportunity identification through proposal submission.
Develop discriminators, narratives, and materials to support capture efforts.
Design scalable, reusable cloud service offerings and frameworks for federal pursuits.
Evolve portfolio by analyzing capability gaps, tech readiness, and market trends.
Author white papers and solution artifacts to support customer engagement.
