RapidTalent Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Clinical Pharmacy to lead our clinical pharmacy operations across managed care programs. This is a high-impact leadership position focused on optimizing Medicare Part D performance, enhancing medication adherence, and elevating clinical quality metrics.

You’ll be at the forefront of developing and overseeing clinical strategies, managing high-performing remote teams, and working directly with health plan clients to drive measurable outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy leader who combines clinical expertise with operational excellence and a passion for improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end operations for clinical programs, including adherence, MTM, and SUPD initiatives.
  • Oversee and evolve clinical protocols, training frameworks, QA processes, and compliance standards.
  • Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team: pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, analysts, and developers.
  • Track and optimize performance metrics such as engagement rates, claims lift, and documentation quality.
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to streamline workflows in our internal adherence platform.
  • Serve as the primary clinical liaison to health plans, providing data-driven insights and performance updates.
  • Stay abreast of CMS guidance and industry trends to inform strategic planning.
  • Support the expansion of new clinical service lines and innovation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • PharmD or equivalent degree required.
  • Active pharmacist license in at least one U.S. state.
  • 5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience, with 2+ years in Medicare Part D or managed care.
  • Deep understanding of Star Ratings metrics, especially related to adherence, MTM, and SUPD.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing clinical and/or cross-functional teams.
  • Strong command of quality improvement methodologies and clinical documentation standards.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with telephonic outreach and/or clinical call center operations.
  • Knowledge of Part D coverage determinations and grievance processes.
  • Comfort with claims data analysis and using data to inform clinical interventions.
