Director of Clinical Operations (NP, PA, or MD)

Description

Are you a passionate healthcare leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused setting? Our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Operations to oversee nursing, laboratory services, and clinical operations and serve as a backup to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and oversight of nursing and lab operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations.
2. Provide patients with quality clinical care three days a week or based on the student loan repayment requirements.
3. Support and implement clinical protocols, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives.
4. Serve as a backup to the CMO, providing clinical guidance and leadership as needed.
5. Collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
6. Ensure compliance with FQHC regulations, Joint Commission standards, and other relevant policies.
7. Develop and monitor KPIs for clinical performance, patient safety, and staff experience.

Qualifications:

1. Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Medical Doctor (MD).
2. 2+ years of clinical experience, with 1+ years in a leadership or management role.
3. Experience in primary care, community health, or FQHC settings preferred.
4. Strong understanding of clinical workflows, compliance, and quality improvement.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
