Job summary

Ascension in Appleton, WI is seeking a Nursing Leader to direct operations in the Oncology department at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

You will shape service delivery, implement policies, and guide teams to achieve high-quality care while controlling costs. This role emphasizes staff development, performance improvement, and building strategic partnerships to advance patient outcomes and align with Ascension's mission.

Qualifications

• RN licensure preferred (Wisconsin Board of Nursing) or multi-state/compact licensure considered.
• Education options: High School equivalency with 5 years of job-specific experience (2 in leadership) or an Associate's/Bachelor's with 3 years of experience (2 in leadership).
• BLS Provider from AHA or Red Cross preferred.
• Oncology experience required; inpatient and outpatient oncology experience strongly preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing preferred.
• Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

• Oncology experience required.
• Inpatient and outpatient oncology experience strongly preferred.
