Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a Director Clinical Educator to lead training and education across the facility, orient new staff, schedule comprehensive training programs, and ensure compliance with online education. The role emphasizes development of recruitment strategies and safe working practices to uphold high standards of patient care.

Ideal candidates will have current nursing licensure and proven ability to teach, train, and communicate complex clinical ideas.

Formación

• Current nursing license or risk manager certification; at least 2 years in long-term care.
• Demonstrated success in communicating technical ideas.
• Teaching/instructional experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess department needs for training.
• Orient new staff and provide ongoing training.
• Schedule training programs and in-services.
• Lecture and demonstrate procedures with audiovisual aids.
• Observe staff applying procedures and provide one-to-one coaching.
• Supervise online education and monitor compliance.
• Coordinate facility tours and introductions for new staff.
• Develop recruitment strategies for all positions.
• Assist with selecting open positions.
• Maintain orientation and training documentation.
• Follow up with new employees on training needs.
• Communicate needs to Administrator and coordinate with budget.
• Provide input on budget needs.
• Coordinate staff awards and recognition.
• Monitor safe working practices with Safety Committee.
• Maintain communication with residents, families and staff.
• Educate staff on new procedures.
• Assist in developing procedures using job analysis.
• Support Continuous Quality Improvement program.
• Stay current with Health Dept, CDC, etc.
• Ensure orientation to EMR system and proper documentation.
