Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management seeks a RN leader to manage the professional development program within our long-term care and short-term rehabilitation settings. The role involves onboarding, staff training, and implementing regulatory education to support high-quality care.

You will collaborate with leadership and HR to discuss career goals, benefits, and incentives, while touring facilities to understand day-to-day operations and standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• Two+ years of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the professional development program in long-term care and sub-acute care / skilled nursing / short-term rehabilitation setting.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff, and facilitate training for existing staff; roll out new compliance and regulatory training.
• Ensure the center remains in compliance with all regulatory, credentialing and educational requirements.

Requirements

• Responsible for managing the professional development program in a long-term care and sub-acute care / skilled nursing / short-term rehabilitation setting.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff, training and facilitation of existing staff, rolling out of new compliance and regulatory training, and ensuring the center remains in compliance with all regulatory, credentialing and educational requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the state of practice required.
• Two (2+) years' nursing experience required.
• Long-Term Care or SNF Nursing experience OR Clinical Education and Staff Development experience strongly preferred.
• CDC - IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.
