Director of Client Partnerships - Learning

Business Development - Remote

Amplity seeks a talented Director of Client Partnerships for our Learning and Development business unit. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors for our learning solutions.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about learning and development, with experience in pharmaceutical training and a proven sales record in the industry.

Responsibilities include gaining access to key decision-makers, executing territory and account plans, and expanding Amplity's Learning Solutions relationships with industry contacts, leading to increased sales.

The candidate should adopt a consultative approach, understanding client needs and pain points, and developing tailored strategies to address learning solutions, from market analysis to closing deals. Engagement during implementation and follow-up is also essential.

Preferred candidates reside in the Eastern US; however, strong candidates nationwide will be considered. No relocation assistance is available.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the SME on learning solutions during introductory calls.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities based on experience and relationships.
  • Lead pitch presentations and collaborate on proposals.
  • Proactively engage prospective clients within the territory.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline to meet revenue targets.
  • Sell learning and development consulting projects.
  • Manage all aspects of business development initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for revenue growth.
  • Build relationships with clients, industry associations, and service providers.
  • Present proposals and strategic approaches.
  • Act as the communication link between clients and internal teams, ensuring project objectives are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience assessing training needs and evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Proven success in sales and business development within the pharma/biotech industry.
  • Ability to access key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Knowledge of adult learning strategies preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel 30%.
