Position: Director of Client Partnerships - Learning

Location: Remote

Amplity seeks a talented business development professional for the role of Director of Client Partnerships in our Learning and Development business unit. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical markets for our learning solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and development, experience in pharmaceutical training, and a proven sales record in the Pharma/Biotech/Medical/Life Sciences industry.

The Director will leverage their business development expertise to access key decision-makers, execute territory and account plans, and expand Amplity's Learning Solutions footprint, leading to increased sales.

They should adopt a consultative approach, understanding client needs and pain points, and developing tailored strategies. The role involves market analysis, client engagement during implementation, and follow-up to ensure delivery success.

Candidates residing in the Eastern US are preferred; however, strong candidates from other regions with relevant experience will be considered. No relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the SME for Amplity Learning Solutions during introductory calls.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities based on experience and relationships.
  3. Lead pitch presentations with team collaboration.
  4. Proactively engage prospective clients within the territory.
  5. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline to meet revenue targets.
  6. Sell learning, development, and strategic consulting projects.
  7. Manage all aspects of business development initiatives and activities.
  8. Develop and execute strategic plans for revenue growth.
  9. Recommend innovative strategies to meet client objectives.
  10. Build relationships with clients, industry associations, and service providers.
  11. Develop and present proposals, including budgets and pricing.
  12. Serve as the communication link between clients and internal teams.
  13. Review reports and proposals, ensuring project objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Ability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles in learning, development, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Proven success in sales and business development efforts.
  • Ability to access and influence key decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of adult learning strategies preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
