Lead and build the US delivery function for a fast-growing global executive search and consulting business, working hand-in-hand with our Client Services Director and directly with the CEO.
The Movemeon Group is the leading executive search and consulting business focused on strategy and transformation. We partner with PE funds, global enterprises and VC-backed scale-ups, helping them find the very best talent to drive to impact. We provide executive search, on-demand consultants and project teams, and have supported over 5,000 businesses globally, including Bain Capital, Advent, KKR, Amazon, AMEX, and Uber. Founded by ex-McKinsey consultants, our community is central to our proposition. We have built a network of over 100,000 strategic and commercial professionals who started their careers in leading consulting or finance firms (45% are ex-McKinsey, BCG, Bain), and now have deep operating experience. Our tech enables us to outcompete others in the market. We are investing heavily in software, data, and AI to further improve how we serve our community and clients. We're proud to have worked in over 100 countries and have offices focused on EMEA (UK, France, DACH), APAC (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and India) and the US.
We are looking for a Director of Client Delivery to build and lead our client delivery function in the US, working in close partnership with our Growth Client Services Director to support the continued growth of our US business.
This is a senior, high-visibility hire: you will be the first dedicated delivery leader in the region. Historically, US delivery has been supported remotely by our central team in the UK; you will now take full local ownership of client and candidate delivery, building a best-in-class function from the ground up.
The split of responsibilities is deliberate. Our Growth Client Services Director owns origination, business development and closing new mandates, the client relationship up to the point a search is signed. You own everything that happens next: running the search, building shortlists, managing candidate and client experience through to placement, and ensuring every engagement lands well and drives repeat and expanded business. You will work as true partners on shared accounts, Growth staying close to the client relationship commercially, you owning delivery execution and quality end-to-end and, while the US function is being established.
This is not a purely operational role. How well a mandate is delivered directly shapes whether a client renews, expands, or refers us to their portfolio so you'll be expected to think commercially throughout: reading account health, spotting expansion and cross-sell signals during live delivery, and feeding those insights back to Growth to inform renewal and growth conversations. You'll also bring a strategic lens to how the US search process itself is designed, where to invest effort, which client segments and mandate types deserve a bespoke approach and how delivery capacity should be built out as volume grows rather than simply executing a process handed to you.
You'll be the delivery lead on mandates for funds like Bain Capital, Advent and KKR, some of the most demanding and high-profile clients in our portfolio and you'll set the standard for how delivery is done in the US as the team scales. You will work closely with peers in the UK central team during the transition, leveraging their expertise, tools and capacity where needed, before building out your own US bench.
