Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Director of Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness to lead enterprise transformation efforts, partnering with senior leaders and HR to drive adoption, readiness, and leadership enablement across major initiatives.

The role focuses on developing change strategies, governance, and measurement of adoption success, in a highly matrixed environment, with a strong emphasis on executive partnership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, organizational development, human resources, consulting, or related disciplines.
• Change management certification (Prosci or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead change management strategies for large-scale initiatives and transformations.
• Develop and execute change plans driving awareness, readiness, and adoption.
• Assess impacts and stakeholder needs for successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Establish governance practices and tools to drive consistent execution.
• Identify adoption risks and develop mitigation plans to improve outcomes.
• Measure readiness, adoption, and effectiveness; report findings for improvement.
• Coordinate change activities across multiple initiatives for alignment.
