Job summary

DEKRA North America is seeking a senior audit leader to direct compliance with DEKRA Certification standards and maintain accreditions. You will oversee internal staff and external contractors, lead audits for AS9100 and ISO 9001, and act as Certification Official for standards.

The role requires strategic alignment, training, and proactive improvement initiatives. You will coordinate with the Aerospace Program Manager, develop market-specific materials, and travel domestically up to 40–50% as

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent or four to ten years of related experience.
• Minimum of three years of quality management experience.
• Experience supervising staff or teams.
• Hands-on experience establishing, auditing, leading, and maintaining an ISO/AS quality system.

Responsibilities

• Directs and interprets applicable standards for DEKRA Certification, Inc.
• Lead auditor for AS9100, ISO 9001, among others.
• Act as Certification Official for DEKRA standards.
• Develop market-specific presentations and collaborate with Marketing/Sales for new clients.
• Manage audit procedures and update staff training annually.
• Ensure auditor qualifications and accreditations are maintained.
