Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in urban vocational education settings.
• Strong collaboration with school departments and external partners.
• Experience managing grants and funding for career and technical education.
• Ability to align CTE with academic programs and state regulations (Chapter 74).

Responsibilities

• Ensure curriculum, schedules, and program operations follow Chapter 74 regulations and CTE Standards.
• Lead integration of CTE with academics and plan professional development for CTE staff.
• Collaborate with counselors and teachers to support Cooperative Education students.
• Develop and sustain partnerships with business, college, and community groups.
• Recommend candidates to Head of School and oversee CPT meetings to review strategies.
• Monitor instruction quality in CTE shops and labs and adjust as needed.
• Oversee student placement in vocational programs and monitor progress.
