Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 5 years experience in outreach, engagement, public relations, or related field.
• Proficient communication skills and ability to represent IU externally.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, coordinates and supports relationships with IU faculty and staff engaged in CRE initiatives.
• Directs faculty side of Sustaining Hoosier Communities; recruits and supports faculty in community-engaged teaching projects.
• Leads selection and directs work of CRE's Faculty Advisory Council; connects faculty across the university.
• Develops and maintains systems for selecting, tracking, and assessing projects and outcomes; manages budgets and may supervise staff.
• Regular travel within the state and occasionally nationally for conferences.
