Job summary

The University Memorial Center (UMC) at the University of Colorado, Boulder is seeking applications for a UMC Director. This leadership role oversees administration, facilities, programs, and services that support CU Boulder students and the broader community.

The Director collaborates across student life and reports to the Division of Student Life, role-modeling diversity and sustainable practices. Salary ranges from $129,825 to $144,250 annually with coverage for benefits and opportunities to

Qualifications

Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, business management, or related field.
5 years of experience managing a complex organization with supervision, operations and auxiliary services.
3 years overseeing building maintenance, facilities operations, renovations over $500k.
Knowledge of contract negotiations and business management.
Knowledge of physical plant systems and building maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

Performs administrative and supervisory functions for the UMC facilities, programs, and services (~$10M operation).
Oversees staff, including ~55 full-time and 125 students, with hiring, training and supervision.
Develops plans for facility and operational improvements and budgeting.
Collaborates with campus departments for coordinated facility services and events.
Co-leads staff to support student development and engagement, including the UMC Board and SERT.
