Job summary

The University Memorial Center (UMC) at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking applications for the UMC Director. This leadership role oversees administration, facilities, programs, and services that support students and campus life.

Reporting to the Division of Student Life, the Director leads budgeting, strategic planning, policy implementation, and collaboration with campus partners. A strong background in higher education administration and facilities management is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, business management, or related field.
• 5 years of experience managing a complex organization with increasing supervision, business operations, facility operations, and auxiliary services.
• 3 years overseeing building maintenance, facilities operations, construction, or renovation projects in amounts of $500K+.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and supervisory functions for coordination of all UMC facilities, programs, and services (approx. $10 million operation).
• Develops plan for facility and operational improvements, including major repairs and construction.
• Works with campus departments for renovations and expansion of the UMC and ensures cross-unit collaboration.
