Job summary

University is seeking a Director of Student Engagement and Events to lead a holistic campus life program, shaping co-curricular experiences that support student success and a vibrant campus culture.

You will oversee major events, student organizations, SGA, and CAB, driving leadership initiatives and inclusive programming across disciplines to strengthen recruitment, retention, and graduation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in university housing or residential life with budget experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and a vision for student engagement initiatives.
• Plan and evaluate a calendar of campus events and major programs.
• Oversee Student Organizations, SGA, and CAB with policy development.
• Manage budgets, contracts, risk, and staffing for events.
• Foster inclusive programming and campus traditions to boost belonging.
