Job summary

The Mandel Jewish Community Center of Cleveland is seeking a Director of Camp Wise to provide strategic leadership for Camp Wise, including on-site residence in Beachwood, OH, and summer housing in Chardon, OH. This senior role will guide year-round operations, safety, budgeting, and program excellence, while aligning with the Mandel JCC mission and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading overnight camp operations or nonprofit leadership.
• Deep familiarity with ACA accreditation standards.
• Passion for developing youth and building Jewish community.
• Strong financial and organizational management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the long-term vision, strategy, culture and growth of Camp Wise.
• Oversee camp operations, safety and performance.
• Drive enrollment growth, retention and sustainability.
• Lead annual budgeting and business planning.
• Partner with JCC leadership and philanthropy teams for campus transformation.
