Job summary

CScale, a Palo Alto startup, seeks a senior leader to own design infrastructure, CAD/EDA compute, and corporate IT across global endpoints and SaaS. You will drive security programs, incident response, and a three-zone operational model with robust export controls.

You will champion aggressive AI adoption while building guardrails and ensuring compliant access in a dynamic hardware-infrastructure environment. This role is based in Palo Alto and requires US authorization eligibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in semiconductor design infrastructure or related IT/security roles.
• Experience running design compute, EDA licensing operations, and PDK/design-data management.
• Experience with identity systems, multi-country fleet management, and MSP/SLA governance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize CAD/EDA design infrastructure and compute environments.
• Oversee corporate IT: identity, endpoints, connectivity, SaaS spend, and MSP governance.
• Lead security across both zones with incident response, phishing-resistant MFA, and SOC/MDR coordination.
• Manage export-controlled environments and ensure compliant access controls and reviews.
• Drive aggressive AI adoption with safety guardrails in an export-controlled setting.
