Pavion is seeking an experienced Director of Business Systems to lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of our business applications, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, leading system integrations, and ensuring our ERP and related systems align with business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Business Central, strong leadership skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

ERP & Business Systems Leadership-

• Oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central


• Lead the digital transformation strategy, ensuring seamless integration of ERP, CRM, finance, supply chain, and other core business applications


• Develop and execute a roadmap for system enhancements, upgrades, and best practices


• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring optimal system performance and cost-effectiveness

Process Improvement & Optimization-

• Identify opportunities to streamline business processes using Business Central and other enterprise systems


• Collaborate with finance, operations, sales, and other departments to enhance efficiency through automation and system improvements


• Lead the implementation of best practices for system usage, governance, and data integrity

Integration & Data Management-

• Ensure seamless integration between Business Central and third-party applications such as Power BI, Concur, UKG, Vision 360, HighRadius, etc.


• Drive data accuracy, reporting, and analytics to support business intelligence and decision-making


• Establish security protocols and compliance measures for data governance

Team Leadership & Collaboration-

• Lead a team of Business Systems Analysts, ERP Administrators, and external consultants


• Partner with key stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs


• Provide training and support to internal users, driving adoption and efficiency

Basic Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (5+ years) with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV), including implementation, customization, and administration


• Strong understanding of finance, supply chain, inventory management, job modules, and ProjectPro within Business Central


• Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps) and integrations with Business Central


• Experience with API integrations, SQL databases, and data migration strategies


• Familiarity with third-party ISVs and extensions for Business Central


• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to align technology with business strategy


• Experience working in mid-sized to enterprise-level organizations with complex business processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications in Business Central, Power Platform, or related technologies


• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management best practices
