Your Mission
As the Director of Business Operations & Growth, your mission is straightforward: drive Elite Cleaning Service’s top-line revenue growth while ensuring seamless operational alignment.
This role is designed with an 80% focus on direct sales generation and business expansion, and a 20% focus on high-level operational leadership and governance. You will spend the majority of your time prospecting, closing high-value commercial accounts, and expanding our market presence. Concurrently, you will maintain operational oversight, ensuring the promises sold on paper translate directly into the high-margin, "Elite" operational experience our clients expect.
This role demands a closing-focused builder who can execute scalable growth, partner effectively with field operations, and safeguard profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Generation & Business Expansion (80% Focus)
- Pipeline Ownership: Build, manage, and optimize a high-quality, continuous sales pipeline across commercial cleaning verticals.
- Prospecting & Closing: Pursue high-value commercial contracts through active outbound outreach, strategic networking, and key buyer partnerships. Convert qualified prospects into long-term, high-margin recurring revenue.
- Market Expansion: Identify new commercial industries, facility types, and geographic opportunities across the region to expand Elite’s market dominance.
- Relationship & Account Management: Cultivate trust-based relationships with property managers, business owners, and regional facility executives. Own the client lifecycle from initial contact through renewal and account upsell.
- Sales Strategy & Margin Control: Refine Elite’s value proposition, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning to maximize win rates while protecting labor and gross profit margins.
- Marketing Alignment: Partner with marketing to sharpen digital lead generation, targeted campaign messaging, and regional brand visibility.
2. Operational Leadership & Strategy (20% Focus)
- Onboarding & Execution Oversight: Lead the smooth transition of newly closed accounts to field operations, ensuring contract scopes, labor estimates, and client expectations match operational delivery.
- Field Support & Escalation Management: Step in as a tactical bridge for field operations, assisting with day-to-day operational bottlenecks, client escalations, and unexpected labor or logistics coverage to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- P&L & Margin Accountability: Partner with executive leadership to review account profitability, pricing accuracy, labor efficiency metrics, and field performance.
- Field Feedback & Service Refinement: Utilize field observations and client feedback loops to continuously improve service offerings, operational workflows, and client retention strategies.
- Forecasting & Executive Reporting: Maintain accurate sales pipelines, revenue projections, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform leadership decisions.
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven Closing Capability: A strong track record of success in B2B or service-based revenue generation, ideally within recurring-revenue business models.
- Hunter & Operator Mindset: Proactive, persistent, and energized by cold outreach and closing deals, paired with the operational acumen to understand service delivery and P&L dynamics.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to design and execute a revenue strategy while respecting operational capacity and execution constraints.
- Leadership Presence: Exceptional communication skills that command respect with high-level corporate clients and align seamlessly with internal operations teams.
- Tech-Forward Approach: Proficient with CRM systems, reporting tools, and revenue data to drive disciplined decision-making.
- Commercial Service Insight: Background in commercial janitorial, facility management, property management, restoration, or technical field service industries where client expectations, margins, and logistics intersect.
Qualifications
- Sales Leadership Experience: 2–5+ years in B2B service-based sales or commercial business development with proven revenue expansion.
- Operational/P&L Exposure: 2+ years in a role involving account management, operational alignment, branch management, or service delivery oversight.
- Industry Background: Preferred experience in commercial cleaning, facility services, commercial real estate services, or related field operations.
