Job description

Director of Business Development - Government

Fully remote position across the US. We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to play a key role in our growth with government clients, particularly within the U.S. Navy and related agencies.

Benefits include full health coverage (medical, dental, vision) and paid PTO.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a strategic roadmap for identifying and pursuing new opportunities aligned with our business goals.
  2. Sell data collection programs within the U.S. Navy and related agencies, leading proposal, capture, and contract negotiations.
  3. Leverage extensive BD/sales experience, or a combination of engineering, program management, and sales, in support of U.S. Navy customers.
  4. Manage programs independently and drive them to closure while meeting booking expectations.
  5. Utilize existing relationships within Navy and related sectors.
  6. Experience in oceanography and/or subsea warfare is advantageous but not mandatory.
