Manatee Healthcare System is seeking a Director of Business Development to coordinate community and physician relations, oversee outreach and marketing teams, and develop a comprehensive business development plan. This role is vital for strengthening connections within the hospital community.
The ideal candidate should hold a Master's degree and have 3–5 years of relevant experience, as well as demonstrable business development skills. The position offers a full-time role in Florida with competitive benefits.
Coordinates all community and physician relations activities, oversees physician outreach and marketing team members, and develops a comprehensive internal/external Business Development plan. The plan is designed to build and enhance services that strengthen relationships within the community, hospital, other healthcare entities, physicians, and their office staff. Opportunities for improvement are evaluated and action plans put in place to address and resolve challenges/issues. Trains and directs subordinate staff and leaders in obtaining goals and objectives. Coordinates activities within the BD community and serves as a liaison between the Executive Team, Medical Staff, and Nursing departments. Responsible for written and oral communication to assure physicians/offices are updated on services available within MMHS, and demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
