Director of Business Development (eClinical Software)

InnovoCommerce is looking for a Director of Business Development (eClinical Software) in Irvine, CA.

InnovoCommerce is a leading SaaS provider of eClinical solutions for the global life sciences industry. Today, the largest biopharmaceutical firms in the world use our platform for their clinical trials. We are seeking a strong candidate to build a robust pipeline of clients for our AI solution, Innovo Copilot, which provides content creation and on-demand answers & dashboards for clinical operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding in eClinical software business development as well as a start-up & hunter mentality looking for high-potential growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Invigorate sales efforts by identifying, generating, targeting, and engaging prospective contacts within biopharmaceuticals and CROs.
  • Expand sales funnel by creating targeted campaigns, marketing content, etc.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify and share opportunities on a regular basis.
  • Represent InnovoCommerce at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. In-office meetings will be set up with a regular cadence for a remote position.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 4+ years in SaaS sales with proven success and strong communication skills
  • 2+ years selling directly to biopharmaceutical companies, CROs, and related service providers with a network of relationships within the life sciences industry
  • Experience in contact, content, and campaign management using LinkedIn, MailChimp (or similar tool), and more
  • Experience with eClinical Cloud Software, clinical operations landscape, and relevant conferences
  • Driven mindset to aggressively pursue new opportunities and close deals
