Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to drive the growth of our power generation business, focusing on reliable behind-the-meter power solutions for data centers and other industrial clients. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, build relationships with key accounts, and contribute to the company's revenue growth by promoting our innovative NovaLT16 turbine-based power solutions.

Remote or hybrid applicants considered, with an ability to office at our Dallas, New York, or Casper locations, with expected travel to project sites and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts for our power generation services, focusing on data center developers and industrial power purchasers
• Work cross-functionally with commercial, technical, financial, and operations teams
• Identify and qualify new opportunities for behind-the-meter power generation projects
• Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives at target clients and potential partners
• Collaborate with engineering and project development teams to create customized power solutions
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
• 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles in the energy sector
• Deep understanding of power generation technologies, with knowledge of gas turbines preferred
• Experience with data center power requirements, energy procurement strategies, and power contracting models
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
