Career Opportunity

We are currently seeking candidates for a Director of Business Development reporting directly to the President. This position requires strong selling skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to bring value to customers and our technology partners and drive growth for the business. This individual will be held accountable for pipeline qualification, annual awards, customer meetings, and amount of submitted proposals. This position may be remote but will require travel to Company and/or customer locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Grow opportunity pipeline, including existing and adjacent markets/customers, through diligent and timely identification and qualification of new business opportunities by leveraging current technologies, customer relationships, and inter-company collaboration.
  2. Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for pursuing and successfully capturing key opportunities.
  3. Lead and manage the core capture team.
  4. Obtain marketing intelligence and competitive data related to potential pursuits and develop marketing strategies.
  5. Participate in bid decisions, develop cost strategies, and conduct phase reviews.
  6. Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships and assess competitor capabilities within the intelligence community.
  7. Support the creation and execution of multi-year business development strategies.
  8. Lead proposal development.

Travel

This position involves a high level of travel.

Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related discipline.
  2. Minimum of 7 years of relevant Business Development experience.
  3. Proven success in leading and winning contracts.
  4. Ability to establish and utilize important customer relationships with senior officials and program stakeholders within the defense and intelligence communities.
  5. Experience leading opportunity captures, including developing win strategies, shaping deals, developing teaming strategies, and understanding pricing to develop winning proposals.
  6. Skills to map opportunities to T-Solutions’ core competencies and identify high PWIN opportunities.
  7. Ability to progress opportunities through T-Solutions’ process to include them in pipeline metrics as qualified opportunities.

Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to frequently traverse stairs.
  2. Sitting for long periods, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
  3. Reaching, handling, and using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
  4. Lifting boxes (files and supplies) up to 20 lbs.
