As we thoughtfully expand our presence across key markets in the Southeast, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Business Development to lead our efforts in cultivating meaningful new business opportunities and growing key partnerships across both on-premise and off-premise channels.

Position Summary:

The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving growth through strategic partnerships with current and new markets and customers. This role will oversee strategic relationships, drive new business, and coach and mentor key sales personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Call on national and regional on-premise chain accounts, including but not limited to Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebee’s, Twin Peaks, Hooters, and similar high-traffic venues.
  • Oversee and manage key distributor partnerships.
  • Coach and mentor the retail sales team and assist in increasing distributor share of mind.
  • Drive business development efforts across new off-premise chain opportunities not currently partnered with New Realm, including but not limited to Target, Sam’s Club, and other large-format retailers.
  • Lead white-label brand development efforts with targeted national retailers.
  • Identify and pursue new partnerships with targeted regional and local chain operators to grow New Realm’s presence across the on-premises landscape.
  • Support the National Account Manager in retail execution for national, local, and regional chain customers, with a focus on driving ad feature and display activity in key chains.
  • Collaborate with the National Account Manager and Trade Marketing team to develop and implement impactful trade marketing programs, concepts, and in-store activations that enhance visibility and velocity at retail.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in sales, marketing, and operations to ensure strategic alignment and execution.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or chain account management within the beverage alcohol or CPG industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and managing strategic partnerships across both on-premise and off-premise channels.
  • Strong network and familiarity with key retail and hospitality chains, including national and regional players.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead white-label initiatives from ideation to commercialization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel as required (approx. 30–50%).
