Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a skilled behavioral health program administrator to plan, direct and coordinate the facility's therapeutic programs. The role will involve supervising staff, managing budgets, developing policies, ensuring compliance with care standards, and providing direct clinical oversight as needed.

The candidate will lead program operations, collaborate across departments, and ensure efficient delivery of services while maintaining quality patient care and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in behavioral health is preferred.
• Four or more years’ experience working in behavioral health is required.
• One or more years’ management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain administrative and clinical operations that provide high-quality care and outcomes; supervise program staff.
• Plan and implement program goals, resources and equipment; implement objectives and measures.
• Oversee the program's budget and policies; coordinate staff involved in service delivery.
• Develop and implement operating policies and procedures aligned with standards of care and regulations.
• Provide staff management including hiring, development, training and performance communication.
• Provide direct care relative to diagnosis and therapeutic management when appropriate.
• Monitor staff schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels for timely care.
• Develop treatment plans and maintain patient charts and records.
• Serve as liaison with other staff on regulations and standards in clinical specialty.
• Provide outreach services in the area of clinical specialty as needed.
