Job summary

Kenneth Young Center in Elk Grove Village, IL seeks a Director of Intervention Services to lead the Behavioral Health Outpatient Department across multiple programs including SUPR, adult and child outpatient services and crisis response. You will drive strategic goals, ensure program quality and manage grants and contracts.

You will supervise deputies and managers, develop policies, and partner with HR and senior leadership to advance service delivery and community impact.

Qualifications

• Masters or doctorate degree in psychology, social work or related field.
• Licensed to practice in Illinois; LPHA guidelines.
• 5–7 years overseeing operations, data analytics or revenue-related functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Department.
• Oversee program development, implementation, evaluation and policy creation.
• Ensure programs align with organizational goals and deliver measurable improvements.
• Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, and HR collaboration.
• Develop grants, contract compliance and funder reporting.
• Coordinate with city/state/federal agencies and external partners.
