Job summary

Kenneth Young Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Intervention and Outpatient Services to provide day-to-day clinical and operational leadership for the outpatient service line, supervising program managers and overseeing the full outpatient journey from intake through therapy, psychiatry, and recovery supports.

The ideal candidate is a licensed behavioral health leader with strong governance, productivity oversight, documentation, and access targets, able to build a mission-driven,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related clinical field required.
• Minimum of five years of behavioral health experience with at least two years of supervision or program management.
• Experience with outpatient clinical operations, access, and documentation/billing workflows.
• CCBHC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight for outpatient programs including intake, therapy, psychiatry, case management and substance use treatment.
• Develop and execute service line plans, access standards, and KPIs with the Director.
• Oversee crisis response and transitions across levels of care.
• Ensure care uses trauma-informed, evidence-based practices and reflects community needs.
• Lead supervision and professional development for outpatient staff.
• Monitor productivity, documentation timeliness, and billing workflows.
