Job summary

Woodland Springs Behavioral Health is seeking a Director of Assessment, a full-time leadership role focused on admission screening and integrated assessment for behavioral health patients in Texas.

The incumbent will supervise clinicians, coordinate with physicians, and ensure accurate care level determinations while maintaining HIPAA compliance. A Master’s in social work or counseling and an active Texas license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or counseling is required.
• Active Texas license is required.
• CPR certification and CPI training within 30 days of hire.
• Previous management experience in a psychiatric health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Directs and performs screening of potential patients for admission and initiates the integrated assessment process.
• Assists administration, physicians, and staff in assessing pending admits to determine level of care.
• Uses approved admission criteria to determine level of care and communicates decisions to nursing.
