Job summary

Inventus Power Illinois LLC in Woodridge, IL seeks a Director of Cell Technology to drive the battery cell technology strategy and propel innovation. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure Inventus remains at the forefront of battery innovation.

Reporting to the CTO, you will lead strategic partnerships, mentor teams, and represent Inventus Power in industry forums while shaping the company’s intelligent battery solutions and

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years in battery cell technology or related fields.
• Deep expertise in lithium-ion battery technologies, cell characterization, and BMS.
• Proven ability to develop technology strategies and partnerships.
• Strong communication to customers, leadership, and industry audiences.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the battery cell technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate emerging battery chemistries, cell technologies, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Lead the development of a Battery Intelligence platform leveraging cell test and field data with partners.
• Provide technical direction for next-generation battery technologies, product development, and commercialization.
