Inventus Power, a global leader in advanced battery systems, seeks a Director of Cell Technology to drive the company’s cell technology strategy and innovation. You will lead cross-functional teams and partner with universities, national labs, and industry groups to advance battery solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in battery tech, deep lithium-ion expertise, and strong leadership, with up to 30% travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in electrochemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in battery cell technology or related fields; experience at major cell manufacturers valued.
• Deep expertise in lithium-ion batteries, cell characterization, BMS, and emerging tech.
• Experience developing technology strategies and establishing strategic technical partnerships.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to customers, executives, and industry audiences.
• Proven leadership and ability to influence across the organization.
• Be available on site for meetings with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute battery cell technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate emerging battery chemistries, cell technologies, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.
• Lead the development of Inventus Power's Battery Intelligence platform leveraging internal test data, field data, and partnerships.
• Provide technical direction for next-generation battery technologies, product development, and commercialization.
