Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Dir Automation and Engineering CoE to drive automated equipment projects across multiple sites. The role requires extensive lead- ship, cross-functional collaboration, and travel to sites as needed.

You will develop equipment and software designs, manage testing, and ensure alignment with schedules and budgets while mentoring on-site engineers and leveraging WMS/WCS systems.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in relevant equipment implementation.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• 2+ years of managing engineering direct reports.
• 1+ years of financial reporting including capital projects.
• Data analysis with Excel/Access/SQL/Power BI.
• MOST/MTM labor modeling required.
• WMS/WCS experience required.
• CAD for equipment layout required.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment and process design for high-automation sites.
• Manage on-site project teams across multiple sites with travel.
• Oversee vendor management and testing across project phases.
• Develop equipment layouts, cost estimates, and productivity models.
• Provide training to site engineers and ensure smooth startup of equipment pieces.
• Coordinate with cross-functional groups to meet timelines and budgets.
