Job summary

HdL Companies in Brea, CA is seeking a Director of Audit Services to provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership for the department. You will drive P&L management, revenue growth, budgeting, forecasting, and exceptional client service while leading a team of about 15 professionals.

You will shape audit programs, supervise quality control, and collaborate with executives to identify revenue-recovery opportunities and scalable processes for HdL and its clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and progressive experience in tax, audit, or revenue recovery.
• Experience leading and developing professional teams with P&L management.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Holds P&L accountability for Audit Services including revenue, expenses and profitability.
• Develops and manages the annual department budget and financial plan.
• Monitors revenue, expenses, margins, and performance against budget.
• Leads strategic development of audit programs and revenue-recovery initiatives.
• Partners with senior leadership on forecasting, reporting and planning.
• Provides regular financial, operational and audit-performance reporting.
