Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 7 years in economic development, consulting, or public sector services.
• Experience leading a business unit with financial accountability.
• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability understanding.
• Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship skills.
• Travel as needed to support clients and activities.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Economic Development practice P&L and financial performance.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, revenue plans, and targets with leadership.
• Drive profitable growth through pricing, staffing, project economics, and margins.
• Lead business development, proposals, presentations, and strategic partnerships.
• Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and HdL quality standards.
• Mentor the ED team and align staffing with demand and targets.
