You will manage a revenue-generating professional-services team and report to the Chief Operating Officer, owning technical quality, productivity, and profit-and-loss performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in local tax, fee discovery, audit, revenue recovery, or related field.
• Direct, substantive expertise in tax/revenue audit and recovery work or closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing professional teams.
• Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and operational performance management.
• Experience developing and implementing audit, revenue-recovery, or operational improvement programs.
• Experience interacting with senior executives, clients, and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Audit Services as a disciplined private-sector business operation with accountability for technical quality, productivity, client outcomes, and P&L performance.
• Build metrics and management systems to monitor revenue recovery, quality, margins, utilization, and growth.
• Maintain credibility with municipal finance and executive stakeholders given HdL's public-sector client base.
• Oversee a team of professionals and drive continuous improvement in audit and revenue-recovery programs.
