Job summary

RBC Capital Markets LLC in Jersey City seeks an experienced internal audit leader with a decade+ in financial sector audit to drive risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires strong communication and leadership, with the ability to influence across staff and executives.

• Minimum 10 years in financial sector audit and/or professional audit standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Accountability, leadership, initiative, teamwork, change agent and impact and influence
• Strong inter-personal skills including interaction/dealing with executives and senior management and ability to maintain a strong relationship with staff, peers and stakeholders
• Risk management and audit expertise
• Expert in-depth knowledge of regulatory guidance, IIA Standards, Practice Advisories and Practice Guides
• Strong working background/experience with major business segments of RBC or comparable peer bank
• Ability to develop a strong knowledge of RBC guidelines and processes and ability to access in-house subject matter experts
• Strong analytical, communication, strategic and creative mindset
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Leadership by example in teamwork, cross-unit cooperation and information sharing.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $160,000 - $250,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
