Overview :

11North Partners is seeking a highly motivated Director of Asset Management to join our growing and entrepreneurial team. This individual will play a critical leadership role in driving the performance, strategy, and value creation of a dynamic national retail portfolio. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and brings exceptional analytical rigor, strong communication skills, and a passion for retail real estate investing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the financial and operational performance of retail assets, managing budgeting, forecasting, and business planning to optimize NOI and long-term value.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors and lenders, providing timely financial reporting, market commentary, and updates.
• Evaluate asset-level performance and create strategic business plans to unlock upside, mitigate risk, and drive leasing, redevelopment, and repositioning initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Leasing, Development, and Construction to execute capital projects, support leasing strategy, and manage asset transitions.
• Lead hold / sell analyses, disposition planning, and execution for mature or non-core assets.

Qualifications :

• 7+ years of asset management experience, preferably within the retail or commercial real estate sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of retail leasing, property operations, capital planning, and value creation strategies.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in DCF, IRR, and MOIC analyses. Argus Enterprise experience is a plus.
• Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
